nice post.. yes values are really important defining form. i remember one of great painter said. if u take care of values. colors are just secondary. thats why monotone artwork do attract sometime more then colored ones. But cant neglect color too !

yup,totally.and when you get values AND colours right then its like BOOM! It makes a dent.
